Unfortunately, parties don't plan themselves. Party planning is an essential part of the party-throwing process.
Party Tips
- Plan ahead
- Tell guests the date and day of the week, the time the party begins, and the location of the party
- Make a list of things to buy
- Buy food several days in advance
- Prep as much food as possible the day before
- Clean the house the day before
- Serve foods that go together
- Buy at least twice as much ice as you think you need
- Tell guests if you want them to bring something
- Have stain remover on hand for when (not if!) food or drink is spilled
- If alcoholic beverages will be served, make sure to have non-alcoholic options available
- Don't let your guests drink and drive - provide a place to stay if your guests are tipsy
