  • The Party of Democratic Revolution (PRD) is the leading opposition party in Mexico, after President Felipe Calderon's National Action Party. PRD was established in 1989 as a conglomeration of numerous left-wing parties, and has maintained a liberal political stance since then. It has been vocal about its opposition towards Calderon's administration, and has disputed the results of his 2006 election.
