Party Monster

Party Monster is a darkly dramatic 2003 comedy starring Macaulay Culkin and Seth Green as a pair of party promoters whose decadent lifestyle leads to tragic results. Based on the novel Disco Bloodbath by James St. James, the film tells the true life story of the rise and fall of New York club kid Michael Alig. While the film never became a commercial success, it did received some critical attention, even earning a nomination for the grand jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
