Parks and Recreation is a NBC sitcom starring Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones. Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) is a mid-level official in an Indiana parks and recreation office but views her position as much higher than it actually is. Knope has political ambitions and believes this is "a great time for women in politics and lumps herself with Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin.
