  • The horror film Paranormal Activity opened nationwide on Friday, October 16, 2009. The film, directed by Oren Peli, stars Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat as a couple who are disturbed by paranormal activity that is most active night. According to descriptions of the film found online, the end of the movie has a twist regarding the fate of "Micah."

    This low-budget filmed opened with a limited release in September 2009, but due to high-demand, Paranormal Activity was given a nationwide release.

  • Micah Sloat Dead

    In Paranormal Activity the characters Micah Sloat and Katie Featherston are disturbed by paranormal activity, mostly at night. Oren Peli created three alternate endings to the film to avoid spoilers being spread during the early screenings of the film.

    The blog Horrorsquad.com explained the final version of the ending used in the nationwide release of Paranormal Activity, "Katie tosses Micah's body at the camera from the hallway, kneels down beside his body to either sniff or lick it, and then approaches the camera before smiling and then lunging at the lens.
