Pantyhose

Pantyhose is a sheer leg covering garment typically made of nylon and spandex. It is a one piece combination of an undergarment and hosiery.

Allen Gant Senior invented pantyhose in 1959. The idea was that undergarment and stockings could be combined into a single piece.

In 1965, they made a seamless version right when the mini skirt fad of the 1960s really took off.
