Pants Off Dance Off

Categories: Entertainment | Television | TV
  • Pants-Off Dance-Off was a televised dance contest which allowed viewers to vote on the striptease performances of both male and female contestants. The program aired on Fuse TV. Each episode featured five contestants disrobing to music while their competitors trash-talked them in pop-up side bars. Viewers submitted their vote for the episode's winner via text message.

The first season of the Pants-Off Dance-Off was hosted by internet celebrity Tila Tequila. The second season was hosted by former child star Jodie Sweetin, Stephanie Tanner of TV's Full House. Willa Ford hosted the show's third season, but the series came to end in February 2008 with a two-day Pants-Off Dance-Off: The Last Strip marathon.

The show was created by producer Tad Low, who was also responsible for VH1's Pop-Up Video. TV Guide called the series the "dumbest show on television."
