Pam Tillis is the daughter of country music legend Mel Tillis and she was born in Plant City,FL on July 24, 1957 http://www.cmt.com/artists/az/tillis_pam/bio.jhtml. Following in her famous father’s footsteps, she began singing contemporary country music while growing up in Nashville, TN. At eight years old, she was singing on the grandest stage of them all at the Grand Ole Opry.
At sixteen years old she was involved in a near fatal car crash, which required her to have extensive facial reconstruction. In addition, she even did commercial jingles that allowed her to show off her unique talent. She worked hard to reach stardom, but she never gave up trying to reach her goals.
She began climbing the country music charts in 1983, after releasing her first album called Above and Beyond the Doll of Cute. However, it wasn’t until she released the album Put Yourself in My Place that she began topping country music charts with singles. Currently, Pam Tillis has created ten albums, as well as thirty charted singles like “Maybe It Was Memphis" and "Don't Tell Me What to Do".
Pam Tillis had many hits yet only one single titled, "Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life)"that hit Number One in 1995. Furthermore she also founded her own record label and named it Stellar Cat Records http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pam_Tillis. Her last album titled Just in Time for Christmas hit stores in 2007, which feature a duet with her famous father.
