The Palm Treo 700 is a smartphone that is smaller and faster than previous models by Palm. The digital camera is upgraded from the past Treo with 1.3 megapixels and 2X digital zoom. A major change in the Treo 700 is that it runs Windows Mobile 6.0 and has Microsoft Pocket Office.

After reviewing the Treo 700, CNET found the upgraded camera and increased memory a positive change for the Treo. They also found the ability to use the Bluetooth connection as a wireless modem a convenient feature.

PC Magazine states the Palm Treo 700 is disappointing due to the dull, small, low-resolution display because this interferes with browsing the internet. They find the audio quality mediocre and the lack of voice-dialing outdated.
