The Palm Centro smartphone functions similar to the Palm Treo although it is much smaller in size. The technology allows the phone to be utilized on either the 2G GSM network or the 3G CDMA2000 network. The device can also be used as a stand alone to act as a modem for laptops or even desktop computers. It includes a built-in camera, with 1.3 megapixels and 2x digital zoom. A standard battery can allow for up to 3 1/2 hours of talk time, and includes both an A/C charger and USB data cable.
