Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, while at Triple D Farms in Wasilla, granted an interview to a local television station in Alaska. The conference took place after Palin gave the traditional "pardoning of a turkey" before Thanksgiving. In the background of the event however, a hatchery worker was graphically slaughtering turkeys. When she was informed of the actions going on behind her, Palin maintained her composure and continued the three minute interview.Huffington Post: Sarah Palin Turkey incident (November 20, 2008)
