During a stop on her book tour for Going Rogue: An American Life, former Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin was booed by a frustrated crowd after failing to sign everyone's copies. The incident occurred at a Borders Book Store in Noblesville, Indiana, on November 19, 2009. Wristbands had been distributed to 1000 Palin fans, but the signing ended with several dozen still awaiting their turn. The crowd then booed Palin as she returned to her tour bus.

On October 11, 2008, Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin was booed as she dropped the first puck at a Philadelphia Flyers hockey game.
