The Pakistan Muslim League-N, or PML-N, is a political party in Pakistan led by Nawaz Sharif. It is a centrist, conservative party that was once unified with the PML-Q. The two parties split in 2001. The PML-N allied with the PPP to win majority control of the parliament during Pakistan's 2008 legislative elections. The two victorious parties shared control of a coalition government until May 14, 2008.
