Pajamas are articles of clothing worn while sleeping. They are usually made to be a loose fit for comfort from soft materials like cotton or silk. They can be worn with bare feet or with socks. A pajama set usually consists of pants and a matching top.
Most pajamas are ambiguously designed to be worn by men or women. Designs range from plain colors to plaid and striped. Children's pajamas usually are designed with pictures or cartoon characters on them.
