Painkiller Jane is a Sci-Fi Channel original series. The show follows the adventures of Jane Vasco, a former DEA agent who is forced to join a secret mutant-fighting government agency after stumbling across their operation. The team targets human beings with neurological mutations that result in mental superpowers. Jane ultimately learns that she has a power herself - to heal from almost any injury - and could ultimately be targeted by the group. The show is based on a comic book character of the same name created by Jimmy Palmiot.
