PageMaker is a desktop publishing application created by Aldus Corporation. It was later purchased by Adobe in 1993. It was replaced with Adobe InDesign and retired in 2004.

Although Adobe has ended developed for PageMaker, they still continue to offer some support for it. Many schools find that PageMaker's ease of use makes it a great program to learn desktop publishing with. Adobe InDesign is the successor product and offers more features than PageMaker. -

First worked with Windows 2.0, using PageMaker. Still wish GEM would have pushed Windows a little more. Ventura under GEM was amazing.
