    During an interview for ESPN's Outside the Lines Pacman Jones denied allegations that he was involved with an Atlanta-area shooting outside of a strip club in 2007. Three men claim Jones ordered the shooting after threatening them inside the club.   • 2007 Suspension

    After multiple off-the-field issues, Jones was suspended for the entire 2007 season. The biggest incident occurred at a Las Vegas strip club which involved a fist fight and a man being shot, leaving the man paralyzed.   • Trade and Reinstatement

    Jones was traded to the Dallas Cowboys on April 23, 2008, for the Titans' fourth round pick in the 2008 NFL draft. The Titans also sent their 2009 sixth-round pick to the Cowboys.   • Joule Hotel Incident

    In the early hours of October 8, 2008, Jones was reportedly involved in an incident at the Joule Hotel in the Dallas area. Jones was attending a party thrown by rapper Ludacris, when he allegedly was involved in a fist fight in the hotel's bathroom with his bodyguard Tommy Jones. No charges were filed by police, however Jones was suspended for at least four games by the NFL.
  • 2008 Suspension

    On October 14, 2008, it was announced that Jones would be suspended indefinitely. The suspension stems from his involvement in an altercation with his own bodyguard at the Joule Hotel.ESPN.com: Pacman suspended at least 4 games

    On October 24, 2008, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell left open the possibility of Jones one day returning to the NFL. Goodell stated that Jones must first work through his personal issues before he can be re-instated into the league.     On December 17, 2008, Pacman Jones returned to practice after being injured in week 14 during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was thought that Jones could possibly miss the remainder of the 2008 season.     In January of 2009, Jones stated plans to sue ESPN after the network reported that Jones hired someone to shoot three men outside an Atlanta club. Jones called the report "stupid."The Dallas Morning News: Pacman Plans to Sue ESPN
