Years at Facebook
Hired in 2005 as the chief operating officer, Van Natta was reassigned to the position of chief revenue officer and VP of operations at the organization in 2007. While at Facebook, he played a critical role in a deal with software giant Microsoft that resulted in a $240 million investment in the social networking site. Also, according to Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Van Natta played a key role in Facebook's expansion of its user-base. Upon the resignation of Chris DeWolf as CEO, and the reassignment of founder Tom Anderson, Owen Van Natta was named the chief executive officer of MySpace on April 24, 2009.
