Over the Hedge is a computer-animated film about RJ the raccoon, his band of animal friends, and their escapades into the suburbs to steal food.

Over the Hedge follows RJ the Raccoon (Bruce Willis) and his group of friends as they attempt to gather food and treasures from a near-by suburb. The homeowner's association calls for pest control to come and get rid of the animals that have taken over the area. The animals escape the traps by giving Hammy (Steve Carell) a caffeinated energy drink, causing him to move quickly, setting the traps to go off on the pest control.
