The Ohio Valley Men's Basketball Conference has a rich history of small conference teams making a big splash in NCAA basketball. Teams such as Murray State, Austin Peay, and Eastern Kentucky have all enjoyed success pulling off upsets of higher ranked teams either during the regular season or in the NCAA tournaments. The conference is comprised of Murray State, Morehead State. Eastern Kentucky, Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois, Tennessee Tech. Jacksonville State, Tennessee State, Southeast Missouri State, UT Martin and SIU Edwardsville.
OVC Men's Basketball 2009/10 Season
In 2010, Murray State is leading way, going undefeated in conference play. The Racers have a balanced attack with five players scoring in double figures for the season. With an overall record of 26-3 as of February 20, 2010, Murray State is poised for another NCAA tournament run.
