The Outback Bowl is an annual American college football bowl game. Held each bowl season at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, the game hosts teams from the SEC and Big Ten. In the 2009-2010 season, the Outback Bowl will be played on January 1.
The Iowa Hawkeyes played the South Carolina Gamecocks in the 2008 Outback Bowl.ESPN.com: 2008-09 Bowl Schedule The Hawkeyes beat the Gamecocks, 31 - 10.
