Our Lady Peace, or OLP, is a Canadian alternative rock band made up of Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts, Jeremy Taggart and Steve Mazur. Co-founder Mike Turner left the group in 2001, after spending nine years with them. He cited creative differences as his reason for leaving.
Our Lady Peace found success on the heels of its second full length album release, Clumsy, in 1997. Since the beginning of their career they have sold over five million records worldwide.
On April 8, 2008, David Cook from American Idol Season 7 sang the Our Lady Peace song "Innocent." However, only Paula Abdul liked the performance while Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell did not.
