The 81th Annual Academy Awards ceremony was held on February 22, 2009 at 5 p.m. ET and was hosted by Hugh Jackman. Jackman performed during the opening ceremony. In the segment, Jackman sang and made fun of the movies nominated for Best Picture. Actress Anne Hathaway joined Jackman on stage in the segment that made fun of the movie Frost/Nixon.
