After receiving their award, Academy Award winners are given about 45 seconds to make an acceptance speech, after which the orchestra begins to play and they are escorted off-stage. Quotations from the speech occasionally become pop culture landmarks, such as James Cameron's contention that he was "king of the world" after winning for 1997's Titanic and Sally Field's infamous "...I can't deny the fact that you like me, right now, you like me!" line, which has been frequently quoted and mocked in subsequent years, even by the actress herself.
