Originally calling themselves the Six Sided Rockers, Rita Lee and brothers Arnaldo and Sergio Dias Baptista formed Os Mutates as teenagers in 1966. They were inspired by the psychedelic psychedelic music being made by The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Sly and the Family Stone.-
