It is hard to entrust the health of our infants to any government body. Not long ago, many infants died and countless infants fell ill because of the widespread practice of adding melamine to infant formula in China to bolster protein content readings. Until recently, most governments of the most developed countries had no problem allowing the production of baby bottles with bisphenol A (BPA).
It is unthinkable for most humans to hurt an infant, but history has shown that humans can do the most unimaginable heinous acts to the most vulnerable.
