Orange Soda

Orange Soda is a carbonated beverage that usually contains a combination of citrus products, plant products, chemical additives and colorings.

Have you ever noticed that some orange sodas have a slight metallic flavor? It doesn't come from oranges. In fact, most orange-flavored sodas do not contain any orange juice or part of an orange at all. The metallic taste is due to high levels of Sodium Benzoate a preservative chemical found in many soft drinks, but also in vinegar, mouthwash, and silver polish. Despite the taste and lack of genuine orange ingredients, orange soda is one of the most popular flavors of soft drink available.
