Orange chicken is a Hunan-based dish of mixed Chinese and American origin. A variant of General Tso's Chicken, Chinese restaurants in North America sell orange chicken with varying levels of spicyness depending on levels of included peppers.

Orange Chicken Ingredients
- Boneless, skinless chicken breast
- Olive oil
- 1 large orange
- Lemon Juice
- Vinegar
- Soy Sauce
- Brown sugar
- Ginger, Garlic, Green Onions

Preparing Orange Chicken
- To prepare the sauce, combine freshly squeezed orange juice, lemon juice, vinegar, soy sauce and water in a saucepan, and heat for several minutes.
- Grate it some orange zest, and add garlic, onion and ginger. Add chilies for desired heat.
- Once the liquid is boiling, let the mixture cool.
- Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper and coat with a thin layer of flour
- Heat peanut or olive oil in a wok and brown the chicken. Add the sauce and simmer for several minutes.
