Optimus Prime

Optimus Prime is a cartoon character from the Transformers animated television series. The character is featured in Michael Bay's 2007 film, which is based on the series. The most popular version of Optimus Prime transforms in a Cab Over Engine tractor with an attached full size trailer. For most of the original series he is the leader of the Autobots on Earth until the time of his death, in the 1986Transformers Movie. As leader, he was keeper of the Autobot Matrix of Leadership, which was passed on to second in command Ultra Magnus and eventually found itself in the hands of Rodimus Prime.
