• OpenBSD is a member BSD family of Unix-like operating system that runs on a large number of different computer architectures. OpenBSD was started in 1995 by Theo de Raat to write an operating system built on the ideals of security and code correctness as well as a strict adherence to the BSD license to provide open source software. OpenBSD is currently at version 4.5.
