Background
"Stop and Stare" is the follow up to "Apologize." "Apologize" holds the record for most plays in a single week on modern rock radio, the song received 10,693 plays. The previous record was 370 plays in a single week. Hip-Hop producer Timbaland released a remix of "Apologize" that also received a considerable amount of airplay. The music video for "Stop and Stare" premiered on MTV's TRL on January 28, 2008. The video was directed by Anthony Mandle. -
