Millie loses her virginity, but not to Mouth.

Millie finds Gigi sleeping in Mouth's bed, and Mouth is sleeping on the couch. Millie leaves and calls Mouth, telling him that she will be home shortly and to get the "slut" out of her bed. Mouth tries to get Gigi out quickly, but she undresses in front of him. Millie goes to Brooke's to tell her what happened, and also tells her that she is still a virgin. Mouth later tells Millie that Gigi had gotten drunk at work and that he didn't want her to drive home. Millie says he is being respectful to the wrong girl. Patricia from the adoption agency calls and leaves a message for Brooke while she is eating breakfast with Sam and says that she needs to talk to her about placement for a newborn. Lucas punches Julian. Quentin is with Nathan for the day, talking to him about his comeback and not giving up on his dreams. Haley deals with stage fright at the USO concert, but performs well. Backstage, Mia and Sam bond. Brooke tells Lucas that Julian was only Peyton's rebound guy. She also tells Julian not to mess with her best friends. Lucas tells Julian he won't do the movie now, and Julian tells him that he owns the rights and will do it without him. Millie goes to see Gigi and tells her to back off, but then sees Mouth walk Gigi to her car and gets upset. Brooke learns that Sam is threatened by the possibility of Brooke getting a baby, and Brooke tells her that it his Sam's home too and she will always want her there. Derek tells Peyton he is grateful for the family that he has. Brooke returns the call to the adoption agency and learns that fostering Sam will complicate things. Peyton convinces Lucas to make the movie with Julian.

Owen promises to bring Brooke a gift every day until she reconsiders dating him, but he ends up feeling used and stops. Brooke apologizes and says that she needs to focus on Sam, but she will keep him in mind. Peyton has a lot of flashbacks to her serious relationship with Julian, but Lucas doesn't learn the truth until he finds a picture of the two in Julian's hotel. Lucas struggles to write the scene in his screenplay about Keith's death and meets with Dan to ask him what happened that day. Sam teaches Jamie how to get candy from the snack machine and then sell it for a profit. During a Slamball game, Nathan makes the winning shot. Then Gerome, from the other team, gets angry and pushes Nathan through a glass window. He is okay, but promises his family that he won't play Slamball anymore.

Nathan is playing Slamball and almost all of his friends are there watching. Lucas comes in and tells Peyton that someone wants to make a movie out of his book. Gigi keeps flirting with Mouth, which irritates him and Millicent. Lucas meets Julian, the guy who wants to make a movie out of his book and they go out for drinks. Peyton goes to see her brother Derek, where they talk about their father and decide to put on a USO concert. Jamie spends the night at Brooke's, and Sam sneaks out to a party and takes him with her. The party is at Brooke's store, and she catches all the teenagers there. Peyton's dress has been spray-painted and ruined. Brooke grounds Sam. Julian talks Lucas into signing a contract for the book rights and tells him that he can write the screenplay. Peyton shows up to meet Lucas and runs into Julian near the bathrooms. It's obvious they have some kind of history and Peyton doesn't want him around.

Lucas and Peyton adjust to living together. Owen catches Sam at the bar and brings her back to Brooke, who finds out that Sam keeps leaving. Brooke finds her in a diner and learns that one of the waitress' is Sam's mom. Brooke gives Sam some rules to go by in Brooke's house and says she doesn't want to give up on her. Haley plays music with Grace Potter. Mouth gets his old job back and finds out his new intern is Gigi. A boy at school makes fun of Jamie for wearing his cape, and Nathan and Haley tell Jamie to walk away instead of fight bullies. Haley fights the bully's mom, so Nathan takes care of it. He takes a box of capes to the school and shows off his basketball skills, so then all of the kids want capes. Brooke and Owen finally talk and he explains his reasons for leaving so quickly.

Nathan and Haley find Sam sleeping in a car in shop class at the high school. She finds out that Sam is in a foster home, and asks Brooke to take in Sam. Millicent has made a list of all the things Brooke said she wanted to do, but that Victoria would not allow. Peyton finds Mick passed out on a pool table, and holds his "one year sober" coin until he wakes up. He admits that he is her father, and tells her why it's good that they gave her up. Peyton thanks him. Dan sees Deb and Skills together and later sends Deb flowers that she throws in the trash. Nathan and Dan talk in the hallway about their relationship. No one comes to Lucas' book signing, and the publisher representative tells him that the rest of the book tour is canceled. Lucas decides he wants to go home to Peyton anyway, and Mouth decides that he wants to come home, too. Nathan goes to check out Slamball and Owen is there. Brooke tells Peyton the truth about being attacked. Mick gives Peyton the "one year sober" coin and tells her that it was her mom's from when she was pregnant. Brooke talks Sam into coming to stay with her.

Peyton chooses a wedding date and asks Brooke for help with a dress. Brooke doesn't tell Peyton about everything that has happened with Victoria. Nathan gets a call that he thinks is an offer to play in the NBA, and heads off to meet a team general manager. Sam comes into Brooke's store and tries to return all the clothes Brooke gave to her. Movers come in and say they have instructions from Victoria to pack up the store, so Brooke tells Sam that Victoria would be happy to give her a full cash refund. Carrie disguises her voice and calls Haley, telling her that Dan is dying in a hospice and wants to see Jamie. Since Haley promised Jamie he could see his grandfather, she takes him to the address she was given. Lucas goes to see Lindsey for a meeting about the book, and ends up telling her that he is marrying Peyton. Nathan finds out that he is actually wanted for coaching, not playing. Haley and Jamie go to see Dan - Haley gets attacked by Carrie and Jamie tries to run away when Carrie comes for him. He runs in a cornfield, and Haley wakes up and goes to get him. Carrie is chasing them back to the house when Deb appears and hits Carrie with a wine bottle. Dan then shoots Carrie - twice. Samantha picks up Brooke's tab at a restaurant and we see her sleeping in a car later. Millicent returns and said she heard Brooke is looking for a new employee. Peyton thinks Mick is her father and invites him over for dinner, but he goes to the bar instead.

Many of the characters see Quinten as they go about their day. Nathan kicks Deb out of the house, but then lets her come back. Haley and Jamie go to see Quinten's grave. Peyton meets Mick Wolf, who says he knows her birth mother. Brooke talks to a therapist about her issues with her mother. Haley starts noticing that Dan hasn't been at home, and gets a call from his doctor saying he never returned their call about the heart transplant. Haley reaches out to Samantha. The Ravens dedicate their game and a jersey for Quinten. Carrie steals some clothes from Jamie's house. Brooke goes to New York to tell Victoria she can have the company, and Skills says he is going to help Nathan with his comeback.

The opening scenes show Skills going to Lucas' door, Haley going to the river court to tell Nathan about Quentin, and Brooke tossing clothes out of the door of her store. The gang deals with losing Quentin - they meet his family and go to the funeral. Jamie meets Quentin's brother Andre, and gives him Quentin's jersey. Samantha starts in Haley's class, and all of the students write on Quentin's desk. Nathan goes to talk to Brooke about everything she is struggling with. Deb shows public affection to Skills at the funeral, and Nathan observes this. Dan attempts to escape but only makes it as far as Carrie's yard, where he sees a grave. Carrie reveals that she used to have a son. Her plan is still to kidnap Jamie by luring him out to see his dead grandfather, and then killing whoever brings him and pinning it on Dan.

Brooke calls Peyton, and Peyton tells her that she and Lucas are getting married. Brooke is still beaten from her attack, and she doesn't tell Peyton the truth about what happened. Deb meets Brooke at Clothes Over Bros. The store is a disaster and in order to avoid getting the press involved, Brooke decides she is not going to call the police. She asks Deb to teach her how to use her gun. Dan is still being held hostage by Carrie. Carrie tells Dan that one day soon she will kidnap Jamie, and she is setting him up to look responsible. Nathan's doctor suggests that he slow down. If he pushes too hard, he may never walk again. Quinten is shot and killed at a gas station by a robber.

Peyton shows up at the airport, and she and Lucas take off to Vegas. They end up getting engaged in L.A. After being hit by a car, Dan discovers that not only is Carrie his nurse - but he is not actually in a hospital. He has been kidnapped and is being held hostage in Carrie's house. A high school student tries to steal a top from Brooke's store, and Millicent stands up to Victoria. Brooke and Victoria continue to battle over control of Clothes Over Bros. Millicent and Mouth head to Omaha, and Brooke is attacked when closing her store for the night.

This is the episode written by Chad Michael Murray, supposed to be set in 1941 with a "Casablanca" type story.

Karen's Cafe is set up like a nightclub. Lucas is in a white suit, and Mouth is getting drunk and almost scuffles with Jim. Mouth says he is working on some big news that will shake the town up.

Lucas talks to Brooke and she says she has money and men problems, both of which Lucas can help with.

Dan tries to kiss Haley. Dan tells her to sing a song and to break a leg.

A few drunk guys try to come on to Haley while she's singing and Nathan punches one of them.

Brooke owes Dan money.

There will be multiple deaths in this episode.
