Plot Synopsis
One Foot in Heaven is based on Hartzell Spence's biographical drama about his minister father. It stars Frederic March as Methodist cleric William Spence who moves his family on an almost monthly basis because of his calling. His children resent this fact and have a difficult time forming friendships, which causes conflict within the family. Rev. Spence eventually becomes more stable and grounded due to a series of randomized events.
