    Omar Bin Laden is the son of Osama bin Laden and his first wife Najwa. Osama bin Laden has 19 children. Omar lived with his father in the Sudan then moved to Afghanistan with him in 1996. He claims he trained at an Al Qaeda camp but in 2000 until he decided to leave. He claims that he does not have contact with his father. Omar has lived in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

    Omar and his wife met while horseback riding near the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. In a 2008 interview with the Associated Press, the couple announced that they are planning a 3,000 mile horse race across North Africa. The horse race is an effort to draw attention to the cause of peace.
