Olympic officials are expected this leg of the really, the only in Africa, to be calmer than previous visits to Paris and San Francisco, both of which were marked with Protests. However, Kenyan Nobel laureate Wangari Maathai stated she would not participate, publicly giving support to the ongoing protests.
