Reports said an as yet unidentified man held several people hostage inside a home near the Ole Miss campus on the afternoon of September 25, 2009. According to police and media reports, a gunman shot his father to death and then took hostages inside a home on Grand Oaks Boulevard near the Ole Miss campus in Oxford, Mississippi.
