Setting
Okami takes place during unspecified period of Japanese history and draws much of its inspiration from various Japanese myths and folklore. . Its graphic design is unlike any other game to date with a unique mix of cell shaded graphics seen frequently in comic books and Japanese traditional art. Okami also features one of the most critically acclaimed musical soundtracks, rivaling those of Final Fantasy and The Legend of Zelda. The entire collection takes up five disks and is available for purchase separately.
Gameplay
Amaterasu can use a variety of attacks, many of which can be learned at training dojos found throughout the land. She can also use three different weapons, a divine mirror, a rosary, or a glaive (sword) which are earned throughout the game or bought from merchants. The most unique feature in the game, however, is the celestial brush, which players can use to draw different attacks on the screen using the analog sticks.
