Okami was originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2006, and the new Wii version of the game was available for purchase on April 15, 2008. In Okami, you play a wolf character who must travel through Japan to save the land from darkness. A unique feature of the game is that you can manifest objects and elements into play by literally painting them in with a "Celestial Brush". In the Wii version of the game, this is accomplished with a wave of your wii remote.
Pros:

- Long adventure with many collectibles and side tasks
- Celestial brush mechanic with Wii Remote livens battles and exploration
- Varied quests with good use of brush techniques
Cons:
- Mediocre response from some of the motion controls
- Combat is on the easy side
