The release date for the Nintendo Wii game, Okami is April 15, 2008 (Tax Day). It was previously slated for release on March 25, 2008, but was postponed by Capcom for reasons unknown. It is rumored that the delay could be due to a reallocation of resources by the game's developer company, Ready at Dawn, which was also working on the Sony PSP game, Chains of Olympus. Okami is a game that was originally created for PlayStation 2. The PS2 version was released on September 19, 2006. In the game which is based upon Japanese mythology, you play as a Sun Goddess named Amaterasu who appears in the form of a wolf. As the wolf, you travel throughout Japan to save the country from eternal darkness. To do this you must complete puzzles and tasks which often involve the use of a "celestial brush", a paint brush you control with your Wii Remote.
