  • Game Story and Setting:

Okami takes place during unspecified periods of Japanese history and identified by its hints of Japanese myths and folklore. Its graphic design is unlike any other game to date with a mix of cell shaded graphics seen frequently in comic books and Japanese traditional art. Okami also sports one of the most fantastic soundtracks, rivaling those of Final Fantasy and The Legend of Zelda. The soundtrack alone encompasses five disks, available for purchase separately.
  • Gameplay:

Okami Wii has a different approach to the role playing and adventure game genres. While it mixes both, the Nintendo Wii version's gameplay differs from that of the Sony PS2 version with the controls being those of an artist. Using the Nintendo Wii's Nunchuck and Wii Remote, you paint and use brush strokes in the game. Outside the norm, but well-suited for a console like that of the Wii.
