There are eleven Secret Brush Skills that Okami Amaterasu can acquire in the video game, Okami. These advanced techniques generally need to be unlocked before they can be used, and are rewarded for completing sidequests. In addition, most of these special brush skills are upgrades of a previous technique. Power Slash 2 and 3 are upgrades of the original Power Slash, and allow Amaterasu to cut through iron rock and diamonds. Cherry Bomb 2 and 3 are upgrades of Cherry Bomb, and allow Amaterasu to draw more than one bomb at a time. Fireburst is an upgrade from Inferno, which lets Amaterasu summon fire out of thin air. Likewise, Whirlwind, Deluge, Thunderbolt and Icestorm allow Amaterasu to summon tornados, rainstorms, lightning and hale respectively. The other two secret brush skills, Mist Warp and Fountain, provide Amaterasu with more ease while traveling. Mist Warp provides transport to any origin mirror, while Fountain provides transport to any mermaid spring.
