Icestorm is a secret brush technique in the video game, Okami, that allows Okami Amaterasu to summon an ice storm from the sky. There are no special tasks or items required to achieve this skill, and it becomes available for use as soon as players learn the "Blizzard" technique.
To use Icestorm, draw an X with a horizontal line through the middle (like a snowflake) with your PS2 controller or Wii remote, depending on which version of the game you're playing.
Okami is an action-adventure role playing game made for the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2. The PS2 version of the game was released on September 19 2006, and then the ported version for the Nintendo Wii was released on April 15, 2008.
Okami revolves around a Shinto sun goddess named Amaterasu who assumes the form of a white wolf. Along with Issun, a one inch tall artist, Amaterasu travels the Japanese countryside and restores the land from darkness by solving puzzles and painting elements onto the screen with a "celestial brush."
