Fountain is a secret brush technique in the video game, Okami, that allows Okami Amaterasu to travel between mermaid springs without having to use mermaid coins. It is an upgrade from the skill "Waterspout," which allows Amaterasu to create columns of water that she can stand on. Fountain will become unlocked when you complete the digging game with the overweight dancer and save the Swirly Whirly Spring in Dragon Palace.
To use Fountain, draw a spiral (from outside to in) over a mermaid spring with your PS2 controller or Wii remote, depending on which version of the game you're playing.
Okami is an action-adventure rpg game available on Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2. It was released for the PS2 on September 19 2006, and then re-released for the Wii on April 15, 2008.
Okami's plot revolves around a sun goddess named Amaterasu who takes on the form of a white wolf. Amaterasu travels along the Japanese countryside with a one-inch tall painter named Issun, and restores the land from darkness by solving puzzles and painting elements onto the screen with a "celestial brush."
