Fireburst is one of eleven secret brush skills in the video game, Okami. This particular skill lets Okami Amaterasu create fire on demand. It is an upgrade from the move "Inferno", which harnesses an already lit flame and attacks enemies. Fireburst will become unlocked when you present the Golden Mushroom to Chef Yama in Sei-an City. To aqcuire the Golden Mushroom, you must first help the Tea Merchant in Taka Pass reclaim his teacup from a mole dressed in blue.
To use Fireburst, draw an infinity sign with your PS2 controller or Wii remote, depending on which version of the game you're playing.
Okami is an action-adventure rpg game available on PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii. It was originally released for the PS2 in September of 2006, and then ported to the Wii and re-released on April 15, 2008. Okami's plot centers around the Shinto sun goddess named Amaterasu who takes on the form of a white wolf. Along with a one-inch tall painter named Issun, Amaterasu travels the Japanese countryside, saving the land from darkness by solving puzzles and painting elements onto the screen with a "celestial brush."
