Deluge is a secret brush technique in the video game, Okami, that allows Okami Amaterasu to summon a rainstorm. It is an upgrade from the skill "Fountain," which allows Amaterasu to travel between mermaid springs for free. To unlock Deluge, beat ninetails and then find the pool behind Queen Himiko's palace. You will see four stones sitting in a lake in the background. Connect water (with "Waterspout") to each of these stones, and you will then be rewarded with the Deluge brush skill.
To use Deluge, draw two vertical lines with your PS2 controller or Wii remote, depending on which version of the game you're playing.
Okami is an action-adventure rpg game made for the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2. The PS2 version was released on September 19 2006, and then the ported version for Wii came out on April 15, 2008.
The plot of Okami revolves around a sun goddess named Amaterasu who takes on the form of a white wolf. Along with her friend Issun, Amaterasu travels the Japanese countryside and restores the land from darkness by solving puzzles and painting elements onto the screen with a "celestial brush."
