  • Ohio Valley University is affiliated with the churches of Christ restoration movement. It is a private, four year school that offers associate and bachelor degrees. The school's sports teams are part of the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
  • Campus Life

    Ohio Valley University requires students to take a Bible study class each semester. Lack of attendance or excessive absences could result in suspension for the next semester.

    OVU enforces a curfew for resident freshmen and sophomores. Curfew hours are midnight Sunday through Thursday and 1:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.

    OVU offers co-ed social clubs with other Church of Christ affiliated colleges in replacement of fraternities and sororities. At present there are five social clubs being offered: Delta, Kappa, Sigma, Theta and Omega Pi.
