A Short film from Adam Curtis first appeared on Screenwipe with Charlie Brooker. Oh Dearism is the term given to modern day television news as a way to explain the reporting of events of terrible things that viewers feel they can't do anything about.
Oh Dearisms include images of war, massacres, unrest, protest and Poverty. These images live the viewer helpless and depressed.
