Ogaden National Liberation Front

  • The Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) is a militarized separatist group in Ethiopia that is fighting to make the Ogaden region a sovereign state. Their main contention is that although the region is predominantly Somalian, it is under Ethiopian control. Although ONLF claims to be a grassroots social movement, they have used terrorist tactics such as bombings and kidnappings.

And although Ethiopia has declared ONLF a terrorist organization, they are the only international entity to do so.
