The One combines excerpts of Obama speeches with images of ecstatic crowds and a clip of Charlton Heston as Moses parting the Red Sea. A male voice-over mocks the candidate in Biblical language, concluding, "Barack Obama may be The One, but is he ready to lead?"YouTube: The One (Time: 1:14)

The following is a statement concerning The One by Hari Sevugan, an Obama campaign spokesman.

• "It’s downright sad that on a day when we learned that 51,000 Americans lost their jobs, a candidate for the presidency is spending all of his time and the powerful platform he has on these sorts of juvenile antics.
