Senator Barack Obama is being accused of plagiarizing Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick in a campaign speech He gave on February 16, 2008. Obama's campaign maintains that the similarities are not plagiarism. Both speeches use the phrase "just words" and quote Franklin D. Roosevelt, Martin Luther King Jr. and John F. Kennedy, as well as the Declaration of Independence.
